Maybe we shouldn't be mean to people because they're fat, but i sure as hell have no problem being mean to them for being leeches on society.

What's happening is that for one reason or another, people are making excuses as to why it's okay to treat people like shit.
If a big fat man at a buffet turns directly to you and asks for your opinion...open that slender mouth and let your opinions flow like his gravy blood does. If he didn't ask, then where do you get off thinking that for one god damn second you have the right or the obligation to say one fucking word about it?
Do fat people stop you and say your protruding ribs make them want to punch babies?
I'm not mad at you nor am I trying to aim this directly at you Spence, I'm using the phrase "you" to aim it at everyone who thinks their opinion was solicited or matters.
I don't take what you say personally kim, nor do I walk up to fat people and verbally try to get them to commit suicide (most of the time). I however lump obesity up there with the guy who needs a new liver at 40 because he drank like a college freshmen for 20 years straight. I have NO sympathy for people who waste their lives by over indulging in shit, poisoning their bodies, and then expect modern medicine to be able to save them at the last minute and help them lead happy normal lives. Maybe they shouldn't have had 30 JITB taco's a week for 20 years just like you'd say to a lifetime alcoholic maybe you shouldn't have put back a bottle of whiskey a day when he's on his death bed. Does it suck someone is wasting their life away to early grave in a fast food drive through? Yes, but 99% of time people don't get obese because of some psychological eating disorder they do it because of little respect for themselves and no foresight for their future.

What gets me are the people that are obese and have no health issues. I have had to take blood pressure and cholesterol meds since my early 20s. I'm 5'10". At that time I was 155 lbs with 12% body fat. Bad genes I guess. I do cardio a few times a week and lift heavy weights several times a week. I'm 200 lbs now 15% body fat and still on meds.Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension

So since we're assuming all obese people do not have medical insurance and have to leech off the system?
I guess it is also safe to assume all Hispanics are illegal and are leeching off the system?
Well, if anyone is Hispanic in here, go back to fucking Mexico you illegal piece of shit, i'm tired of paying for your anchor babies bills.

I was going to leave this thread alone, then I thought about :
Gluttony
Main article: Gluttony
"Excess"
(Albert Anker, 1896)
Derived from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow, gluttony (Latin, gula) is the over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste. In the Christian religions, it is considered a sin because of the excessive desire for food or its withholding from the needy.[10]
Depending on the culture, it can be seen as either a vice or a sign of status. Where food is relatively scarce, being able to eat well might be something to take pride in. But in an area where food is routinely plentiful, it may be considered a sign of self-control to resist the temptation to over-indulge.
Medieval church leaders (e.g., Thomas Aquinas) took a more expansive view of gluttony,[10] arguing that it could also include an obsessive anticipation of meals, and the constant eating of delicacies and excessively costly foods.[11] Aquinas went so far as to prepare a list of six ways to commit gluttony, including:
* Praepropere - eating too soon.
* Laute - eating too expensively.
* Nimis - eating too much.
* Ardenter - eating too eagerly (burningly).
* Studiose - eating too daintily (keenly).
* Forente - eating wildly (boringly).
Then in thinking about passing unnecessary judgment and talking bad about overweight people I re-read:
"Pride
Main article: Pride
In almost every list Pride (Latin, superbia), or hubris, is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and the source of the others. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self (especially holding self out of proper position toward God). Dante's definition was "love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbour." In Jacob Bidermann's medieval miracle play, Cenodoxus, pride is the deadliest of all the sins and leads directly to the damnation of the titulary famed Parisian doctor. In perhaps the best-known example, the story of Lucifer, pride (his desire to compete with God) was what caused his fall from Heaven, and his resultant transformation into Satan. In Dante's Divine Comedy, the penitents were forced to walk with stone slabs bearing down on their backs to induce feelings of humility."
It never fails the more I look outwardly at the things I have a problem with, I get directed to look back internally.WRX
