I made the choice when I was in my teens not to look like a 160 pound anorexic crackhead. I'm still happy with that choice.

I don't treat them differently in my interactions, but wouldn't go out of my way to make friends with them either. And I'm talking about grossly obese.

Yes. If you obviously have no respect for yourself or how you look, then i have a hard time respecting you.

I wish some of you would take a different attitude about it. Sometimes it takes some negative attention to motivate someone. You are a ticking time bomb and to think otherwise...or "It wont happen to me"...is crap. Just being a man in this country you are at risk for cardiovascular disease, but add in obesity...which almost always includes diabetes, hypertension, and atherosclerosis...your likelihood of heart attack and stroke jumps exponentially. Yeah yeah...it's your body, you can do what you want and you dont need some self-righteous jackass telling you how to live your life. That's the attitude that has gotten you to this point...how's that working out for ya? I sure as hell hope you dont have children that rely on you for survival. A little selfish attitude to take if you do. Nobody said that it will be an easy process to get healthy (notice I didnt say skinny), but you will be better for it. There are a few on here that have done it...talk to them about it.

You can't always take the height and weight of someone into consideration and call them fat without having seen or taken measurements. You can still be healthy and over weight for you height and build of body, if you're not over fat. Most people immediately see a height and weight and call it being fat, but that's not always the case.

Is this the big boned defense? You can be healthy and overweight, but wouldn't it be more healthy to be healthy and normal weight?

60% of Americans are overweight, and 25% are obeise. That's pretty sad.

Don, you could eat nothing but butter, sugar, and bacon all day every day, and you'd never be fat... cracks me up when people with ultra-high metabolism talk about how easy it is to not eat too much or how easy it is to eat perfectly healthy

I was not referring to overweight people...that is subjective anyway. I am talking about obesity. But I am the self-righteous one. Why? Because I am successful and not fat and have an opinion about something? Good grief...turn that pointer finger around at yourself and you will be amazed at what you discover.

                            LMAO at "land walrus!"

I do treat fat people differently usually. But like many other have said just the lazy and obese ones gross me out.

I'm 5'10" 190 and have been up to 210 (fatty) and down to 185 when I was kickboxing.
