  • Do you sleep better or worse in storms?

I've always heard people say they sleep better when it rains or storms.....Sadly, I'm not one of those.

    So, better or worse?

Better. Usually sleep in later than usual as well.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Since I fixed my basement flooding issue I sleep like a comatose Alzheimer's patient during the worst of storms.

I'm dead to the world during storms.

I don't get much sleep at all if it thunders, because one of my dogs can't handle it and has to get up in the bed and stand over my face and tremble all night long. So tired this morning.

I sleep good if it is just raining, but I'll wake up for a moment when they start. I wake up constantly during thunderstorms. I'd curse my very excellent hearing, but going deaf runs in my family, so I'll live with it a few nights a year.

Better. My Golden Retriever, not so much. For her it might as well be the Apocalypse rolling into town.

                      Worse as well.

I'm in the same boat. Two nights in a row of that B.S.

I sleep better as long as the my great dane is in the bed with us. If he isn't or can't get in bed he whines when it starts storming and wont stop until we let him in bed, big pansy-assed dog.

As soon as the thunder starts and the rain follows it is like I just chased thanksgiving dinner with an ambien sprinkled with lunesta.

better, my dog hates the storms though. so I usually kick him outta my room and he'll find a spot to sleep in one of the other rooms. this morning he was in the spare room under the covers.
