How was your 2010? Good? Bad?

I nearly lost a brother. He was literally within 2-3 days of his wife pulling the plug. Now though he's planning on watching the Rose Bowl at my house. Other than an oxygen tank and 14 different prescriptions he's doing great now.

His condition is typically heriditary and at the same time I had similar symptoms. Even after testing my doctor wasn't conclusive so I had a few weeks were I wasn't sure how much longer I'd be around. Thankfully mine turned out to be just allergies and a cold, with very poor timing.

Seeing as how I'm healthy, my brother is still around and I'm not homeless and broke I'll consider 2010 as a good year!

It's been a year I'll never forget.

Can't complain. I graduated with honors from one of the top MBA programs in the country and passed CFA Lvl II in 2010. Was able to get back to Dallas for 3 months and spend a lot of time with all my friends before accepting a phenomenal job offer. I love work and just got a 30% raise even though I've only been working 3 months. We did have to put down one of our dogs in June, which was really shitty. I still miss her incredibly.

This year sucked.

Only good thing that came out of 2010 was my girlfriend and getting another mustang.

Everything else, has been pretty shitty.

2011 can't get any worse, so the only way to go is up.

My year has fucking rocked. I hope to push myself much further, personally and professionally in 2011.

It's been pretty good on my end, got a great job, bought a house and got in touch with some old friends. Other than getting deployed a few months ago and having to be gone from the family it's been great.
