I'd take 90 percent of the opinions of this board's members with a grain of salt.

If you like it, and want it, then so some non-biased research.

Find me a $35k SRT8 Challenger and I'll buy it today.

Hell, there was a radio spot for Allen Samuels yesterday spouting about $10k off MSRP on SRT8 Challenger. I called the guy up and said let's do it.

He didn't know what I was talking about. So he called me back about 20 minutes later telling me that $3500 of that was a rebate that you qualify for if you are trading in a Mopar lease from 24-29 months ago. Fuck those bastards. Let them eat those cars. They're just not worth $7k more than the competition like they think they are.

All the ones I drove over at frank parra had been there over 100 days, I know they had a pink one in the showroom for a while, probably still do, they were calling it purple for some reason, lol. Like I told you at the xmas party, just wait til the 2011 srt8s start coming in and you might be able to get one for $35k.

They've had that ad in every Saturday paper for the last month. If it's published in the paper repeatedly I'd think they'd need to honor it.

It says best offer too. You could probably get it for less. But I agree on the auto, fuck that.

There was a blue 6 speed at Vandegirff Acura in Arlington a couple months ago, 10K miles for 32K.

I agree though, the Challenger is a great looking car. Out of all the retro cars, I think the Challenger hit it the best, with the Mustang being a close secong. The GTO and Camaro are laughable at best.

A Plum Purple SRT8 might end up in the garage in the next year or two.
                      I concur!

I saw it. It was B5 blue, a nice color and limited production. But it was rough, lots of scratches and dings, and also an auto.

I will say that the interiors suck in the SRT8, the side bolsters are some uncomfortable mofos. The LCD radio display is the most amateur hokey bunch of shit I've ever seen. And you never see big, wide wheels on challengers because the rear is independent and the struts are right in the way.

But those bastards do look good.

They'd look better with about 4 inches of height sectioned out of the body.

Obviously that won't happen. There are certain dimensions that have to be maintained since it shares the same platform as every other rear-drive Chrysler product.

                            I thought this was interesting...

Yeah, they look huge, heh. Why don't you just go get a 2011 GT and save yourself some money?

Challenger is bigger, looks better, and if it's an SRT8, is somewhat special. I do like the new GT though, a LOT.
