I want a Challenger soooo bad.

Ok, here's the scenario: Three years ago I bought an 07 Mustang after my beloved 87 Firebird threw a rod and was too rusted and broken down to repair. The Mustang is nice...gets me around town and I get a lot of compliments on it, but I just see it as transportation and not much more. I really really want to buy a Challenger, but the Mustang is loaded with options and paid for, so a Challenger is definitely not the logical, responsible choice, and I don't need or want a second car - just one vehicle to drive every day. I'm not a fan of Dodge, but wow that car is hot. I go for looks over speed since I'm more of a cruising driver than a racer. I just miss driving a car I feel passionate about. So... What do you think? Discuss.

Unless it's a STR8, I do not find the Challenger appealing. And the SRT8's are waaaaaayy too pricey IMO.

Keep your paid off car, that's the sensible thing to do.

Or if you do decide to get a new car, at least sell yours outright and put that cash down. DO NOT trade it in, you'll lose a couple grand for sure.

I agree though, the Challenger is a great looking car. Out of all the retro cars, I think the Challenger hit it the best, with the Mustang being a close secong. The GTO and Camaro are laughable at best.

A Plum Purple SRT8 might end up in the garage in the next year or two.

I wouldn't trade a v6 Mustang for a v6 Challenger. If you're going to change it up, at least get something with a v8 in it. You might find it suits you.
