Ian Malcolm: God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs.
Ellie Sattler: Dinosaurs eat man … woman inherits the earth.
I'm not so sure I would call it a belief. I'm more inclined to call it a denial. Also, not all Christians have the same view. Even the Catholic church has stated that evolution theory is not in conflict with the Bible.
There's a faction of christianity that tries to dispell the dinosaurs' existance. Some of it has to do with Adam and Eve beginning creation. As a "believer", I have no problem with dinosaurs or timetables throughout history. Some say if you believe in dinosaurs, then you can't believe in creationism, or vice-versa.

Do some research on what oil/natural gas is comprised of. Dinosaurs have very little if not nothing to do with oil. The term "fossil fuels" is kind of misleading.
Oil/natural gas is made up of tiny fossil microorganisms
Coal is made up compressed dead plant life.
Just because they use term "fossil" does not automatically mean dinosaurs. It can be anything that was once living.
