    nice pics, now get photoshop or something and learn to post process
    I have a book in pdf form, called Understanding Exposure.
    Must have book imo.

        If your local my friend puts on Photog meets to teach noobs and stuff. He'll have a meetup in the future.

            Keep taking tons of pics and look at the settings you used on the pics that come out the way you want so you know what to set the camera in next time you want to take a similar type shot.

            I cheat sometimes and take one pic in full auto to see how the camera settings default, then put in in manual with the same settings and tweak them to my liking.

              I think im cheating more........ and "found" some tutorials on the XSi.....
