Gotta say thanks to everyone who has posted in this thread. I'm on hour 25 of a 36 hour road trip, or should say ride during to this thread. Took off noon yesterday for ruidoso NM from Midland, shot down to cloudcroft, then Alamogordo, then to El Paso then over to Guadalupe peak and natl forest. Then down to van horn tx, then to the MC Donald observatory. Then to fort Davis, Alpine, marfa ( galleries were badass Yale!) And now having an authentic Mexican lunch in a hut on the Rio Grande in presidio tx. About to head into Big Bend shortly. Ill post pics tonight when I get back to my hotel in Midland.
