I would have thought that train, automobile, and 4 wheeler safety had improved more drastically since the middle ages.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I've got an ATC70 for the kiddo, and also have a ATC 185S and ATC 200s. While unstable and dangerous, we've never had any serious injuries on them, thankfully. A lot of wrecks should have done more damage than they did though.

A buddy of mine growing up had the 250R (race suspension, 250 2 stroke, true standard tranny) and that thing ran like a scalded fucking ape. LOTS of friends got permanently fucked up on his rig.

I was on a road that circled my grandpa's cabin, it was cut for drainage and had a decent pitch. My dad started yelling for me to slow down and I looked behind me, and did the ol push/pull on the handlebars hitting the drainage ditch and rolling that damn thing. The next few moments were dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky, kawasaki green honda 3 wheeler, pain........pause.......hospital.

Long story, but to make it short I was a conductor and got my foot caught between the knuckles of the locomotive and a rail car. It made a joint with my foot inside the knuckles. Both the pins fell and I spent 2 months in the hospital and 1 year in a wheel chair.

Yeah, that's not nearly as sensational as I thought it would be. lol

For sure. I had lots of respiratory issues as a child. Seemed I was always in the hospital around Christmas every year until I was about 8 or 9. I had pneumonia several times which surely would have done me in (and almost did even with modern medicine).

Yep dead. Bullet removed from forehead at 24, probably would be a sociopath if not for the medications.

Then, when I was in NZ I got sick for a few days with a 105 degree fever (pretty normal for my fevers) and wife's sister pumped me full of painkillers. I thought I was Hulk and yelled "Hulk Smash" and tried to flip a bus

That sounds like it'd hurt like hell.

Oh it did I was taking 4-5 pain pills every 3-4 hours for about a year. Oddly enough I have no feeling from my calf muscle down. Its like a stationary block of wood at the end of my leg.

I would be fine, but I'd have an extra kidney.
