Head looks more like a Boa than a Python. Big ass snake, that's for sure.
Axe or Machete should do nicely...

LOL @ 15-20 feet. That tree it was on had a diameter of 4-5", and the snake itself was half as wide.
That's MAYBE 4' snake at the most. It's like when you catch a fish and hold it way out in front of you for a picture to make it look bigger.
This!
It looks like it's probably a little bigger than 4', but definitely not 15-20'. Rat snakes just don't get that big. If they did, they would be eating more than squirrels, and would definitely warrant being removed ASAP. As it is, they should leave it be. It's no giant monster and it's no threat to anyone.
It definitely is not a Retic, and it's not a Burmese (the ones going crazy in Florida). They look completely different. Looks just like a rat snake to me.

Looks like a big ol snake to me. Compare the length/size of the snake to the broom/rake handle leaned up against the shed right behind it. It would take some pretty careful trick photography to make a four foot snake look that big.
I diagree. It looks to be a easy 10ft to 15ft snake considering it wrapped around that tree which is easy foot & half feet thick

Seb's high class.
He'll mow your grass.
He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
He'll piss in a glass!
LOL. Please entertain me by describing the difference in how a boa head looks vs a python head.
Boa's tend to be longer in the snout and more slender overall in the head. Pythons usually are shorter snout and fatter...

You're funny. The shape of their heads is pretty much identical, even in the pictures above.
In fact, retics are known for having a very broad, almost boxy head while burms often have a more gradually curved head. Both are pythons. The older and larger a snake gets, the more broad their head gets, too. Also, females typically have broader heads (and get much larger), in both boas and pythons.
Head shape is just not a good indicator of boa vs python, unlike croc vs gator.
