I still think my plan is reasonably sound...I'll be able to pay the car off quick, drive it for 2yrs without payments and then sell it while it's still going to be worth $10-$15k (like my current car) and makes for a nice down payment on the next ride.

Of all of the cars that I've looked at, I like the Audi's interior best, but can't get that silver CTS-V out of my head. I just love the way that car looks. I'm kinda thinking about buying a '10-'11 loaded CTS w/ 30k miles ($25k-$28k) and putting on a V body kit...a clone, I suppose. I'd get my precious A/C seats and all of the other interior luxury items I want, along with better milage than my G35 Coupe. Maintenance should be a bit for tolerable than the BMW or Audi options, and the DI V-6's 304hp isn't too bad, I suppose. I have a couple of friends that manage body shops, so I could get good work done at a fair price...thinking $4k for the painted kit, installed. I'm thinking a white car, dark tint and polished factory CTS-V wheels. Or maybe just black on black chrome CTS-V wheels. I like the idea, but always kinda thought that clone cars were gay...but I just love the way that car looks. I wouldn't put the V badging on, obviously, and I'm wondering if I would need to do anything to the suspension to get the stance I want? Anyways, just something I'm thinking about as I'm still looking at cars.

I saw an '10 M5 yesterday and nearly bought the motherfucker on impulse, but I'm trying hard to be disciplined and stay within my budget. Sucks being responsible.

The nav unit sucks, the interiors are good, but they feel dated. I was not impressed with them, a M45 would be a far better purchase or a IS series lexus. I ended up getting a 425hp 300C SRT8.
you're saying bmw's suck and you went and bought a chrysler? Kind of funny...

Yes, but think of the fun you could have for that 39 months.

09+ V's are holding reasonably well. Now... when/if a redesign comes out then they'll drop I'm sure.

A dime a dozen high line car will drop quickly from new.

I'm back to looking at a C55 AMG. There's a local 06 with 41k miles for $24,888, and then there's Skidmark's car (PM sent). Anyone else have any feedback on this car?
