The iDrive you can just go in the service settings and reset the light. Other models you have to hold down the trip button on the dash to go to the service settings. I have owned BMW's all my life.

I wanted a BMW for months, even when I test drove them and realized they were complete shit I held out it was just the cars I was picking out. The nav unit sucks, the interiors are good, but they feel dated. I was not impressed with them, a M45 would be a far better purchase or a IS series lexus. I ended up getting a 425hp 300C SRT8.

My X5 drives like a dream. Fixing to trade it in on a X5-M. BMW are nice. Which one did u drive?

BMW 335i, 550i, 535, and a 745. I tried the M3's too but wasn't really interested in them as I wanted a 4 door sedan with some power. I'm not a hater, just giving my 2 cents on what I disliked. The SUVs I never drove, but I've ridden in one and liked them, but for a sedan, I ended up having far more admiration for the Infiniti M45.

I didn't buy my car to race, and the interior does feel dated mostly because of the navigation that gets some of the biggest complaints in the industry. I mean they were behind on push button starting, and no button entry and other items infiniti was doing years earlier, I just didn't feel I was getting my moneys worth.

I liked the CTS-v's too but they are hard to come by in great condition for a good price when I was searching, even when I expanded to a nationwide search, there just isn't that many on the road.

Keep in mind I was looking at 2004-2007 year vehicles which were around 25k.

I also dont think my car looks ghetto.

personal opinion, i'd rock an AMG E before a 550 or even M5 at that. I've grown up with and driven both BMW and MB, the Benz seems to be a bit nicer overall, the BMW's sometimes just get too stiff and jumpy, esp with the Sport Packages. The Benz will ride smoother all around, and maintenance costs are pretty equal across the board. Any German car will get expensive to maintain after warranty, but if you take care of it and are a car guy, you should be fine in either case.

Better luck next time bro, I've got some sick street glow, 4 15" subs, and 2 tanks of NOS ordered to go in that bad boy. I do think I'll upgrade to deuce-deuce's though, they gotta see me rollin!
