UNT sucks about that shit unless its Fry St. fair (which I dont know if that goes on anymore) There you can drink around the Fry Street area. We used to get hassled by TABC officers often, and there were some that acted undercover like college students asking where parties were so they could make busts. People got ticketed all of the time even in apt complex parking lots. TABC is ridiculous and unnecessary.

Being at a stadium parking lot is private property, and your not out wondering around from private property to private property. You also can not bring liquor into the stadium due to TABC rules. It also a NCAA violation for colleges.

Thanks y'all. No real background story here. I just moved out here and have been walking around drinking a few times.. just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna get cited for it or anything. Sounds like I should be okay since I'm on the other side of the square from UNT and I don't act belligerent when I do have a beer in hand.
Seems like a gray enough area that a cop would probably just warn me if it were illegal as long as I wasn't being a dick...
