Stolen Trailer w/ Security Footage

My friend's 16' Jeep trailer was stolen out of his driveway last night in the DFW area. Will post up the plate numbers as soon as I get them.

Looks like a light colored Ford. Most likely an F150. 1997 or newer.

Tailgate handle and door panels remind me of my F150's. 1997 and 2002.

EDIT: I actually wondered if it were Dodge, but I feel pretty good about the tailgate handle.


Double EDIT: Now I'm second guessing myself. A glare of light from the fellow in the white ball cap made me think I saw a Silverado emblem.

With they way they were panicking, truck lights still on and taking off to make a loud noise and leaving tire marks, my bet is they'll try to steal another trailer and get caught.

It looked like a Ford F150 (97 model) imo. I could be wrong, i was kind of hoping i'd see a guy come out and start shooting or going Josh Hamilton on them.

They didn't take off the wheel locks until later down the road... they just drove off with them attached... hence the skid marks in the end of the video.

Nope that is defiantly a 99-06 Silverado extend cab it appears.

I drive nothing but Ford, and it looks more chevy to me, due to the roundness of the body panels. Tough to tell though as you can't even make out the wheels with any kind of clarity.

If you look real close just about the time they jump out the first time, you can tell its a chevy tail gate handle. Its too deep to be a ford.
