I would only snitch on somebody over trespassing, assault or murder.
However, I would likely snitch on somebody who I see drinking & driving. Caused way too many horrible accidents in the past. Anybody else would snitch over this?
I have done this several times.
I had a friend that was killed her first weekend back from college her freshman year. She came home that first weekend and went to a movie with her BF and Grandmother. They dropped off her Grandmother and a couple miles down the road got T-boned by a non-english speaking, illegal drunk driver and his buddies in a stolen truck. Witnesses said the driver got out and looked in the car and said something along the lines of "I think she's dead!" Then they all took off running.
luckily he was caught a few blocks from where he was living and got 15 years (which will be up on 9/7/12)
She was 18
I know that most of us drink and drive. some of us get sloshed and drive (I am usually the guy stopping people from driving if I think they are toasted)
But drinking while driving pisses me off for some reason.
Real crimes. Theft, assault, murder. Things of that nature. I could give a shit less if I found out someone was smoking pot or some other menial bullshit.
This and probably lesser things that endanger others (ie drunk driving). I have kids speed down my street (20+ mph over) when kids are out, but a well tossed D cell battery or getting the plate and calling their parents usually fix that.

Is throwing a D-cell at a car considered... Battery? Is it felony Battery or just a lesser Charge?

I can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. LMAO!!

This pisses me off as well, I have kids in my hood and teens drive 30+ mph down the street and hardly slow down to turn. Had one hit the curb and blow a tire 2 weeks ago, went on the sidewalk, would have killed anyone standing/walking there.

30 mph is the standard designated speed for residential streets in TX unless otherwise posted. Just sayin'.
Fwiw, I hate when morons speed through a neighborhood, but typically they are doing a lot more than 30.
