I have verizon and the prices are outrageous. Service is OK, nothing to write home about. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I've debated switching to sprint because it would literally be half of what our monthly bill is.

I have ATT, since ~98, and I get service out in the middle of nowhere. I have an iphone and get maybe 3 dropped calls a week.
One of my friends has sprint and his service is fine as long as you are in a large city or on the interstate - outside of that, you should just wait to make a call..

I'm on T-mobile's no-contract plan
I bought phones on CL and pay like $140/month for my wife and I with unlimited everything
if I was out in the boonies all the time, it wouldn't work, but being near a big metro area, it's an awesome plan

Metro pcs. No contracts or bullshit like the other companies get you with.“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods". I was with Sprint forever...
if I'm going SIM, I'm with T-Mobile, if I'm going CDMA, I'm with Verizon... I think those are the two choices, and they're VERY different!
I could never go from T-mobile to ATT... that only leaves CDMA... Verizon is the only way to go with CDMA IMO
