I have the dollar shave club $6/month option and I'm not really impressed with how long the blade lasts.

I like the Mach3 blades much better.

I might downgrade to the two blade ones and try them.

I did that sharpen on a pair of jeans thing for 7 months with my proglide. Shaved the same every time. Finally the wife bought a set of razors so I switched out.

I can only get an extra 4 or so shaves out of my Mach 3 blades. After that you can really tell it isn't as close.

I'm not sure if it's the jeans or because I started dipping the blades in alcohol to remove the moisture.
