make sure and buy those little vip cards from the dudes selling them on the corner. they will get you into the bars/clubs for free or extremely cheap

also dont worry about tipping the door guys at bars/clubs(especially strip clubs), they are only out to sucker you for $$$

It really depends what you like to do. I've been a few times with different groups and each time was a different experience, but all were fun. Since it's your first time, I'd bring your walking shoes and go walk the entire strip going in every casino on the way. It will take all day and it's a beating, but it's the best way to find places you like and it's a lot easier when you're 21. If you're going in the summer bring lots of water or bring a few singles to buy from people selling it on the bridges.

If you want cheap food on the strip there's a food court in Flamingo where you can fill up for <$10 and there's a pizza place in New York New York that runs right at $10 for 2 slices and a drink.

Nicer places I've eaten were Olives at the Bellagio (on the patio overlooking the fountains), Spago (Wolfgang Puck's place in Caesars), and Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens downtown. All were pretty good, but I'm not much on expensive meals.

Caesars has the coolest pool area, but I think it's $20 to get in if you're not staying there. They also have a topless pool where I'm pretty sure they paid eye candy to show up.

Decide how much you're going to gamble each day and stick to it. Nothing puts a damper on the trip like blowing your whole budget the first night and not being able to gamble (or eat) the rest of the trip.

The Wynn had the best free drinks while gambling and the waitresses there were the most attractive in my opinion. Fat Tuesdays (in Mandalay Bay, MGM, Imperial Palace, Caesars, Planet Hollywood and Stratoshphere) has delicious adult slurpees. Just about every casino has some variation of these, but if you buy a cup at Fat Tuesdays you get refills for a few dollars off so depending on how much you drink them it can be worth sticking to those.

If you haven't already booked a hotel, I'd recommend picking somewhere in the middle of the strip, then you can split the walking of the strip into two days, or at least two parts. May favorite is Caesars and they have a sale going on right now (LV30 is the promo code).

If you are going with some friends sign up for the daily beer pong tourny at osheas.

O'shea's is gone. Played beer pong there in Feb, and they were getting ready to shut down soon. I think it was this month.
