I've got some dickies moisture wicking shirts but they are to thick for an undershirt. Like I was saying earlier if they are worth picking up I'll give them a shot. I'll probably try those underarmor shirts next

When I first went to Afghanistan 6 years ago I bought 14 UA plain black t shirts. Even after being worn nearly every day since they have held up great.

Same thing for the synthetic underwear. I have both brands both are just as good but Starter is half the cost. I don't even own cotton underwear anymore.

Those are pretty much all I wear under my riding gear. During the summer it's very helpful and you don't get the shirt bunched up like a cotton shirt. This stuff just lets the gear slide around a bit and makes it that much more comfortable.
Is this the skin tight shit (not affliction/mma t-shirts) all the teenagers are wearing?

So let's say I put on this "synthetic underwear" in the middle of summer @ 110* and start to work in the middle of a field. ...said skin-tight-nut-hugging synthetic underwear works?

I wear the loose fit ones by themselves and/or as under shirts. 110* is easy if you stay hydrated and use sun protection.

Yes the underwear are boxer briefs. The shirts I have are the loose fitting shirts I can't stand the skintight shirts but I don't care for loose fitting boxers either. They work well and the boxer briefs are light years ahead of cotton boxer briefs.

I can be in the saddle of a motorcycle or hiking all day long and the boys are riding in comfort so to speak. The old cotton stuff used to make me chafe like a MFer. The shirts are great just because I don't feel like I'm wearing a freakin wet towel all the time like I did/do with cotton shirts.

The UA boxer briefs are awesome too. I have about 2 dozen pair and it is all I wear. Most are 6 years old and look brand new. The brown color hides the wet ones too. LOL

It's only going to wick so much sweat before soaked, some are fairly porous - but most of those should last a good while.
I quit wearing cotton t's as undershirts almost 2 years ago and went this route. I have some UA stuff, but I prefer the Champion or C2 or whatever champion brand it is that Target carries instead. They have different types as some is more breathable with a mesh instead of a solid shirt. I have all colors depending on what top shirt I wear. They come in navy, royal, white, black, red, etc. You can get them at Dick's, Sports Authority, or Target for around $15 a shirt on sale, less with a coupon. They'll last quite a while too.

DALUTH TRADING COMPANY buck naked stuff is pricey, but worth it.

Agreed. CK V-neck undershirt is SOP in the summer time for me. Helps regulate.

I used to buy the Polo ones, but they're so thin, they look downright pitiful after enough time. Holes in them like I'm Fred Sanford.

I have two black Starter shirts, two white Starter shirts, and one Under Armour in black. I also have loads of regular cotton Hane's tshirts, but those last maybe 6 months, and aren't as cool during the summer.
