Christmas vacation

2 1/2 hours away from being off for 9 days straight!! I can't wait to do absolutely nothing i don't want to do. Maybe I will actually work on my car. Anyone else get a long Christmas vacation?

I get one, per se, but decided to start my new job during the last 2 weeks of my current job, so I could have been off, but decided to double-dip on pay for 2 weeks so oh well.

Double dipping is about the only time I would consider not taking a vacation. That is always a cool thing.

I have a 4 day weekend next weekend, but that's it.

Not exactly xmas yet but a 5 day weekend, Been waiting for 3 engines to arrive for motor jobs. Hopefully they lose the mofos in transit, find them after Jan 1.

Our company "shuts down" the last two weeks, but they expect you to use your vacation time for it even though it is mandated. Then, when you actually "think" you are going to be off, they make plans for you to do a "little" work eating away at your vacation. I swear I want to slap the next person across their whore mouth that says "I'll be on vacation, but I'll just be around the house so if you need me to work, just call." That turns into expectation for everyone. It would be different if we were hourly, but we're not.

The company I work for shuts down as well. I won't have to go back to work until the 4th of Jan. I did have to use 3 Vacation days, but the rest is all paid holiday.

I had a little time to burn so I am of from last tuesday till the 5th of January. Gonna spend some quality time on my Bronco when it gets back from the paint shop. LOL
