How much is this copper worth?

Getting my roof replaced (was cedar shake) and the seams were done in copper. I told the foreman I wanted to keep the copper and he looked surprised (guess he doesn't know I am a jew). I figure it has to be worth something, just these 2 pieces were pretty heavy (it is fairly thick).

Is it going to be worth the hassle? There is one more piece they haven't pulled off yet.

hahah, i've been found covered in dirt at a junk yard for a $20 part, i'll damn sure drop some copper off at a scrap yard!
