Racial Slurs
The use of racial slurs will get you a 24 hour ban from the site. We have tried very hard to keep an open mind, but there have been some complaints coming in from the frequent use of certain words. The mods have been working really hard to regulate what is acceptable and removing things that are a questionable. Unfortunately not everything can be corrected or removed quick enough. Also, the over use of the "N" word in tags is seen as abuse to the tag system. As a result the use of racial slurs will not be tolerated.
Please control yourselves or else we will be forced to pull the tag function if members continue to abuse it by posting racial comments.
Let this thread serve as your warning. There will be no other warnings for any future use. If a mod or admin sees anything that is questionable, it will be edited and you will be banned.
For now I feel the following bans will be appropriate:
1st- 24 hour ban
2nd- 1 week ban
3rd- 1 month ban
4th- Permanent ban

I'm moving the original thread out of here. The rule still stands and I'm making this a sticky so that everyone will have a reminder that it is still in effect.
The staff would appreciate everyone's help and understanding of this rule. We are not trying to censor anyone from airing their own thoughts and opinions, but please use common sense when posting. If you feel the need to use a racial slur to describe a person, people, or group of people then please do your best to refrain from using racial slurs. We are doing our best to leave this as open ended as possible.
It's the staff's job to try to keep people on track to provide good content for everyone. By instituting this rule it is our hope that we can keep the content clean and safe for those that might be viewing this site at work, around children, etc. This is why we have designated certain forums as inappropriate for work and given that content its own section.
Also, I would like to see the use of the "N word" come to an end in tags. I know some people find it funny, but its getting really played out and I'm getting tired of the PMs that I keep getting about them. If you want to make fun of people in the tags, then go for it! I urge you to actually use brain to come up with a clean alternative. If the abuse of the tag system continues, then it will be removed! I enjoy some of the tags, but please let's clean them up. TIA for your help in making this a better place for everyone!
