That's the GMT series (I'll take it!), not the Submersible, which I agree with - not a fan of the diver PAMs either.

The rubber strap and Tachy bezel is why I lump it in with the divers.
Now the actual Submersible is fucking hideous.

That's been my issue with investing in nice watches, if I buy something I like, I wear it all of the time, and it gets scrathed up. The crystal faces themselves fair just fine, but the metal case takes a beating.

Yet I can't seem to force myself to wear a cheapie.

I can send it back to the Rolex Service Center, and for about $550 it will come back looking just like new. The nice thing is - they always appreciate.

The 188 is a chrono... Not so much a submersible. I have the bracelet for it, just dont like it as much vs. the soft rubber.

No Omega love in this thread. I have a whole slew of 500-1000 watches but my favorite is my Omega Seamaster Professional 300m. It was a wedding gift from my wife. Sorry No pictures. I trade off between the bracelet and the leather strap with deployment.
