Nothing wrong with Longines in my opinion, they make some nice pieces.
That's a nice looking watch. If you have the opportunity, I strongly suggest trying a watch on prior to purchase. I have bought several that look great but feel wrong.

I've thought about investing in a high-end watch. It'll always have some value even if the dollar goes to crap. Really like the Patek Phillipe watches, but they are serious coin.
