I'll bet you did wear it lol
I have no clue, would have to mess with it

I assure you, I got it in the mail, took a wrist shot, threw it in the safe.
I bought 8 watches that week, think I have worn 2....

Last count I was over 50 watches...
Sad thing is I probably only wear 5 of them

I'm just messing with you. The reason I said that is the picture is the watch on your wrist. I might be interested though

              • Just ordered me one of these bad boys :

It's a cheapy watch that you can get a customized dial on. I can't take credit for the idea, I got it from somewhere else.

Here's the limited edition real one they put out around the time of the game/movie:

                  • I'll pose a question then, what are some timepieces to be looking at in the $1k range? I don't wear gold, so something in stainless or leather, dressy enough to wear with a suit.

Look for a gray market (used) IWC Portifino, Baume Et Mercier, Maurice Lacroix. Some slightly lesser known brands that are still quality would be Blancpain, Glashutte.

Hamilton is nice, but a bit overpriced for what you get IMO.

It is so tough to find something that isn't beat up or for even close to $1k. I've been looking and I'm not finding anything. Where is the best place to look?

Show me an IWC, Blancpain, or Glashutte for $1k and I'll buy them all.

I'd suggest looking at Ebel - or as a secondary - Raymond Weil or Hamilton.

                            • I guess I should have been a bit more specific. Vintage. Yes, you can find VINTAGE for the $1k range ($500-1500) if you look a bit and are okay with wearing an older watch. I dig some of the vintage Glashutte pieces and many can be had for under $1k. Even with the age, they are still classy pieces.

                              • I've never been a fan of buying used, so I suppose I'll have to set my sites a little higher. Even the slightest bit of wear showing drives me nuts, knowing that I didn't do it.

Are there any new watches in that range that you would suggest, or should I just expect to pay substantially more?
