I'm late to this thread. I bought this watch as a gift to myself when I finished school and landed a job. I've worn it every.single.day the last 16 years, only taking it off to sleep and shower. I even wrench on cars, work around the house, etc. The sapphire crystal lense is still perfect, and when the band shows wear I hit it with the dremel and in 15 minutes it looks brand new again. It wears great with a t shirt or suit. It has been rock solid until the beginning of the year and it ran out of oil and stopped working, I finally had to have it serviced ($300). One of the best purchases of my life, I see no need to wear another. I'll rock it until I die and leave it to my son.
