I dig some of the vintage Glashutte pieces and many can be had for under $1k. Even with the age, they are still classy pieces.
If you can find me a Blancpain for $1000 I'm interested!!!

        • I'll keep you in mind. Sold a Vintage thin line mid size a few months ago for $1300. I haven't been looking for them much lately because not many people are familiar with them.

I bought my 16610 in 2006 and it was $4200. The only way you could get anything in the 3's was a no date back in 2007-8ish...

                          • I'm late to this thread. I bought this watch as a gift to myself when I finished school and landed a job. I've worn it every.single.day the last 16 years, only taking it off to sleep and shower. I even wrench on cars, work around the house, etc. The sapphire crystal lense is still perfect, and when the band shows wear I hit it with the dremel and in 15 minutes it looks brand new again. It wears great with a t shirt or suit. It has been rock solid until the beginning of the year and it ran out of oil and stopped working, I finally had to have it serviced ($300). One of the best purchases of my life, I see no need to wear another. I'll rock it until I die and leave it to my son.
