No, it's because it's unsafe. The light is blinding when not directed properly.

I'd have to agree, especially when I'm in the vette and I get blinded by every jackass redneck with HID's in their 1500.

Yeah I have DDM tuning 55W 5000k HID's in my headlights and foglights in my f-350. Not too many people like them heading towards me. But I love them.

That usually means your shit is aimed too high. That's the problem with halogen housings, they do not have a sharp enough cut off so you blind people.

My jeep has a huge lift, and my lights are aimed correctly. You need to adjust them down when you lift your vehicle.

I'm pretty sure my lights are adjusted cause all I replaced were the bulbs. And all I got is a 2.5" leveling kit with 36" tires.

Did you manually turn the beams down on the leveler?

I didn't do anything but replace the bulbs and add the HID kit.

That means your lights are unadjusted and are aimed too high, hence the reason you're getting flashed When you lift your truck you have to aim your lights down lower.

                        ^This
HID systems put out MORE light, thus the higher glare. Lower the beams PHYSICALLY using the headlight leveler. I still can't find shit on this law.

Then you need to adjust them. Remember you just installed different bulbs that are brighter and truck is lifted. The stock ones were adjusted for them, you would need to adjust again since you got brighter ones(HID).

Well, I'll take a look at them tomorrow and see what needs to be done to adjust them.

On a super duty it's really simple, should only take you a few minutes.

Just adjust them properly so you aren't blinding people like 90% of the douches with drop-in HIDs rolling around in the day time with the fuckin high beams on and you'll be just fine.
