Doubt I'll have it's replacement highway friendly enough to drive it on this year's Tour, but will FOR SURE be driving it next year. Maybe even try to Long Haul it next year, provided the dates all work out in my favor.
Congrats on your sale. Did you get it done in time to pick up any of those wagons you had your eye on?

      Thanks Steve !

Just so happens a friend of ours has a good friend that lives in the same area as the '58 Chevy wagon I've got my eye on. He's going to take a bunch of pictures for me on Thursday and if it is what the seller says it is, it may just be on a transport headed to Texas by next week !

LS powered and air bagged is the plan.

What area are you coming from?

If we have a lot of Dallas ppl meeting up, it might be better to have a couple of meeting points for each area, say Dallas folks meet there and FW ppl meet at 35 and Heritage Trace then both groups meet in Denton!?
That would save a little drive time for anyone in big D.

We should also get an idea of what everyones fuel needs are so we can plan fuel stops if needed.

                • I agree a ftw group on 35w and a Dallas group or two on 35e. Then meet up at the gas station by the Sanger track or something
