keep me up to date if anything changes on the car. I drove it all the way there from Carrollton with no probs. started it a couple times by reaching in the window, he drove it around the block, no problems. Before I made it back to Carrollton he called saying he would put it in gear and it would die. he wasn't complaining just asking for help because he doesn't know anything about Carb's... or generators for that matter lol he said when it dies the GEN light comes on... is that normal?
I guess he got it worked out because I told him I'd come over last friday and look at it but he never let me know if I needed to even though he text several times asking about little things.
he is a knowitall that doesn't have a clue. I ran into him at the parts store and said I knew the cars previous owner, and he tried to tell me he had it for a long time and haddone a bunch of work etc. I was thinking that he was full of shit and called him on it.

I had planned on trying to put a time and location together. I think a meet at the northern most point in the DFW area would be the best choice in putting the most members together. Now that I have fixed the lack of fuel stations by trucking my own fuel, I can meet anywhere.

I think anywhere off of I35 would be our best bet. I would propose, I35 and Heritage Trace/North Tarrant or maybe even I35 and Basswood. Both have large parking lots and are easy access on/off of 35.

Timewise I think starting north about 9-10 would be best. I am down with earlier, just not much earlier since I am working the night before and probably won't get much sleep anyway.

Scanning through the thread it looks like the following are still "In". If we had even half cruising together on Thursday it would be a big pack.

Are you hooking up with us Steve?
My car could use some new iron around it, considering all the old school rides coming.

Reemo, really sux you can't make it man.

                    • I can't make the group for the ride up, but hope to meet and stay somewhat together for the trip from Stillwater to Arlington. Unless something goes to hell, I'll be in the 65 F100. If they do go to hell, I may be looking for a ride, or taking my Toyota to Tulsa and forcing my BIL to take the 07 428R. I still have a list to do to the truck, but I got 2 things off the list today.

Keith, I'm not getting the '12. I looked at the new blue for the '13, and will get that ordered before too long. Hard to find time to get over there for that and still have time and money to get the 65 ready.

Anyone need an 08 Tacoma TSS?

                          • I have free room and board in Tulsa, about 70 miles away. I need to take my niece back there for the summer anyway. I will get to Tulsa Wed evening, then head to Stillwater early Th morning. At least that is the loose plan for now.

I need to check, I'm assuming the posted the map?

I'd really like to if I could get some specific details on whatever is decided.

                              • Well, the '66 is sold and was paid for today, so I'm definitely not making it in the truck.

Doubt I'll have it's replacement highway friendly enough to drive it on this year's Tour, but will FOR SURE be driving it next year. Maybe even try to Long Haul it next year, provided the dates all work out in my favor.
