I'll tell you, now that Emma is getting old enough to do more activities, I constantly find myself shocked by the extreme bad behavior by some kids. All kids are going to act out, thats what kids do. But I have seen a few kids who are just out of control temper tantrums and I'm SO glad I don't have to deal with anything remotely near that. We're talking kids that scream in public as loud as they can, throw anything they can get their hands on, run away from their parents screaming tearing shit up, even just outright hitting anyone near them including their parents and complete strangers. It's intense to see!

We've been there twice and that was two times too many. That place is nuts.

Perfect example of what happens when parents are afraid to whip that ass. It is why the prisons are full.

Corporal punishment should be installed at all schools. Hell when I was in elementary the principal had no problem whatsoever whippin our ass if he felt it was justified. guess what....I did not act like a little barbaric shithead, so therefore I did not get my ass whipped.

it is funny as hell when I am out at a grocery store, target, etc. and see little kids acting like monkeys on crack. I tell the kids they need to calm down and act appropriately...most of the time with the parents standing there. Then the parents get the "WTF??" look on their face and I just respond "well you suck at parenting, so I will do it for you."

I've found that you don't have to give spankings every day if you have already given a few epic ones that can be refered back to. They tend to remember those so you can just threaten with them as needed, lol.

I disagree. The child should be pulled out of class and parents contacted. Let the parents be forced to parent by being put on the spot at the school. I don't want some random stranger deciding on when to paddle my little girl. Anyone other than myself who raises their hand to my kid is going to have to deal with a real bad side of me. Teachers and Principals are no different than anyone else being all fucked up these days. Look on the news any given night and something is going on with educators breaking the law. They are no one special to be deciding on how to discipline my kid. That's my job, not theirs.

Eh, I just throw one of my nephews around into the others. It seems to get my message across to them: you get out of line, ill throw you into each other like a football.

Eh, I've only had to whip one of my nephews in front of the boys. After that they knew I wasn't joking around. Other times I only have to tell them one time and their behavior gets corrected. My son and 3 nephews fear me for the fact that if they get out of line, I will not hesitate to get my belt.

They need to get rid of these stupid rules about not punishing these kids in school, everyone needs and ass whipping once in a while.

The police chief said the girl was taken to the police department's squad room, not a holding cell, and officers there tried to calm her and gave her a Coke.

Unfair treatment at its best, they even gave her a coke! I would sue because that is racist!

I see. So, they are good enough to provide an education for your daughter, but not good enough to discipline when it's necessary? Even though they are the figure of authority for 7-8 hours a day? And you expect your child to respect an authority figure, whom you have taken all authority from, all while asking for their help? You act like admin is just handing out swats all willy nilly like. snatching kids out of the hallway and beating them. The way it worked when I was in school, was the parents got a phone call, were briefed on the situation, and if severe enough, the principal would ask for permission to give swats. They didn't just swat for no reason or without permission.

Here's the problem. Parents like you, are too over protective of their children, and they make this "you mess with my child and I'll fucking kill you" attitude too well known with their kids. So the kids, as kids do, push the boundaries constantly. Why wouldn't they, when they know there is no recourse? It's ok to be protective of your child. But 9 times out of 10, your innocent little child is anything but, and you refuse to listen to reason and accept responsibility for the monster you have created. I mean you, as a collective. But you do appear to share the attitude of those I am singling out.

I wasn't a kid that damn long ago, but I received many whippings from a friend's parents. And from school admin. I eventually learned my lesson. I get in trouble at a friend's house, I got it twice as bad. I get in trouble at school, I get it twice as bad. Most kids these days have no fear, because of parents like you. As someone else pointed out, they know the admin can't touch them, so they push and push and push. Your typical parent these days just comes back at the admin and says they are picking on them. And a lot of parents don't give a damn if their kids are getting in trouble at school, so they don't get punished at home. FAR more common than you think. A former board member was a prime example of this. He let his kids do whatever the fuck they want, including cussing out teachers, because it was funny to him. My kids pull that shit, they won't sit down for a month.

I completely agree with what happened. The only problem's I have with the whole situation are 1. the teachers couldn't pop the kid in the mouth and immediately deal with the problem, and 2. the kids parents are going to further enable this behavior by making the kid feel like they're a victim.
