He was more likely a deist, but that hasn't stopped Christians from propagating stories before. I believe the cherry tree parable came from a Parson Weems, did it not?

I love that a story about not lying is a lie.

That it is ironic, that those who do not believe in God call Washington a hero or have a great respect for him even though he believed and depended on prayer. That's all.

He may of humped goats too. The fact remains it has been written he believed in God and relied heavily on prayer.

Because a slave owner is just one bad thing, the bible advocates MANY horrible things on top of slavery. This isn't an exhaustive list, but just to name a few: infanticide, genocide, rape, murder. Need I go on?

Talisman believes in god and Talisman relies heavily on prayer.

It's now been written that Talisman believe in god and relies heavily on prayer, does that make it true?

Absolutely. Name the verses that advocate such things. Google away.

Was this nation not built upon the fundamentals of Christianity?
You chose to believe what you want and I'll do the same.

I'm not going to turn this into a giant bible quoting fest. You should read the holy book you believe in and gain some context of your beliefs.

Christianity wasn't even built upon its own fundamentals. There are even a few stories it blatantly stole from other religions at the time and just reworded them so it didn't seem so plagiarized.

You don't think much, do you?

I have read quite a bit of it, but have seen you time and time again quote things and then take them completely out of context. Therefore I was just wondering if you were going to stumble down the same path once again. The fact remains Washington and our Forefathers were all reportedly devout Christians and nation was built upon Christian beliefs.

That last part isn't a christian belief, you've got to be a serf according to them.
