My ice breaker joke recommendation: a Jew, an Asian and a democrat walk into a bar.......... No one will be offended because you will not find any of those things in SA

Anytime you feel pressured and on the verge of panic....breathe. Its a natural instinct for people when they are stressed to hold and/or modify their breathing which only makes the situation worse causing panic. Take your time, pace yourself and breathe. Your experience in what you do will lead your thought process as long as you maintain control. Relax and you willbe fine. Good luck.

What's going to make it tough is I am going to have to go in unarmed. No pistol, no knives, nothing. I hate feeling unarmed, though I will have my cane so that's something. Yes, this can be taken as a brag but it's really kind of trying to vent and moderate my nervousness and fear.

As far as food, there's Cornios and "Cork and Pig Tavern" that have us reservations. I'm staying at the Fairfield Inn.

Too many more of these posts and some of my more fervent stalkers won't think I'm a danger to society and I'm just a normal nutcase who will shoot people on motorcycles crossing the corner of my yard

You're armed with the most important weapons - experience and knowledge of real combat. You've already seen the worst other human beings can do to one another on a battlefield. You have nothing to fear there at the college.

I haven't ate at Mejor in years since they can't keep the same owner or the place open. Henry's is good but I prefer Los Ponchitos downtown, less busy and better food in my opinion.

Sucks that they're giving you Carino's since you can eat that anywhere. Cork and Pig is good from what I have heard. Been told they have the best pizza anyone has had, I hope you're into Italian food from the way it sounds like they're trying to feed you. If you want, I can take you around town and get a variety of food, go to a bar or something, just shoot me a PM.

San Angelo is pretty nice... I was there briefly this morning and will be there(briefly) tomorrow to restore a site.

Have fun with your speaking gig.

Are you going to be doing a lot of public speaking? If so, I'd recommend joining a local Toastmasters group. They can be some quirky ass fucks, but if you find one that meets earlier in the day, it ain't so bad. Either way, your public speaking skills will drastically improve.

It has it's appeal in certain respects. However, hop on Arden Rd. off of Houston Harte and head west for about 30 minutes. Cactus, Mesquite, and a lot of nowhere in the middle.
