    I've got a spare in mine. Let me know if you find out the gt mufflers are any different. I've got my stock takeoffs for a decent price if the interchange.

          So it sounds like the premiums have spares and not the v-6s or non-premium cars.

                            I've rented a few rental mustang v6ers and I'm sure it had the 2.76 gears cause it would go nearly 50-60 in first gear! EEK! On the hwy it wasn't bad. I wasn't impressed but I did have a 11' gt 6 speed with 3.73 gears so maybe my bar was set to high.

                              Manufacturers are actually making spare tires optional these days. The lighter they can get the car the better MPG they get. This does well for the their avg MPG % that the government requires them to have.

                                The Service Part Number # for the Mustang Spare Tire Kit is: CR3Z-1K007-A. Dealers will be able to order it beginning October 1st 2011.

                                The kit contains the following parts:

                                1) Spare Tire Assembly
                                2) 17080 Jack Assembly
                                3) V17005 Wrench Bag
                                4) 17A083 Flat Tire Change Instructions
                                5) W711555 Bolt and Washer
                                6) 5447240 Retainer
