I've been on a few warships on static display but at sea I've only been on drillships and crew boats. Actually was just on the Noble Globetrotter I, talk about an impressive ship. She costs shell 15 dollars a second for the next 10 years.

            USS ALABAMA
USS DRUM (Sub that sits next to the Alabama)

            USS MISSOURI

I've been ABOVE the USS Arizona. That's a memorial anyone should make a point to get to if you are in Hawaii..........ever. To look down on what is a tomb that to this day still leaks fuel oil. Very moving place.

I went to the Arizona Memorial not long before I joined the Navy....

You're right, it makes you think hard about the sacrifices many of our service members have made.

All Americans should go there, as well as Arlington Cemetary\Tomb of the Unknowns.

Damn the Kearsarge name has been active for a long time. My stepfather (RIP 2010) served on it (Kearsarge CV-33) back in Vietnam. I went to Pearl Harbor in 03' and visited the Arizona and all the momorials. Amazing to me that its STILL leaking oil after all these years. RIP to all the victims of that day.
