How much of a refund did the perp try/did get?

Pay your taxes. Get your refund status. Find IRS forms and answers to tax questions. We help you understand and meet your federal tax responsibilities.

              www.irs.gov
              That's to be determined,
Wife spoke to the IRS today and was told to file on paper with the ID's
Then they will tell us if we have to fill out form 14039
I have a bad feeling this is going to drag for ever.

Your info is never "safe". I've heard of a people at car dealerships, medical facilities, loan companies, and title companies selling customer info to ID thieves.

This shit happend to my uncle for about 6 years. Some illegal was using his ss number and screwed up his taxes every year. The worst part is they knew where the guy was working and didn't do a damn thing. I really think the law needs to come down on identity theft. Lock them mother fuckers up for at least 20 years. Of course that will never happen since everyone that does it is an obama supporter.

That sure is a long sentence.
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
