The boat anchors off shore and several catamaran's pick up passengers and take them to either Belize City or other excursions. The ride to the city is about 10 minutes (those cat's haul ass).

OK, Cool...

That's how I got off the SS Norway in Cozumel a while back.

Her draft was too deep for Cozumel's pier because she was designed as a trans-Atlantic liner..... but the cool thing was she carried her tenders with her on her forecastle....

She's now scrap but was a really cool ship.
