Thanks fellas! 5K is the most I would pay for it. I'd like to do a simple LS swap on it down the road. I would drive it like that for now until I got all the parts I want for it.

That color is gross, but it looks pretty straight.

I've got an '87 C-10 that i've been playing with for about 9 months.

Lots of new parts, int, dash, wheels, and has the '91 model grille also.

thought about selling it but don't know how much

It would make a good guide coat.

I don't mind the color at all. Perfect stance.

His prices on the 60-66 trucks are fucking retarded.

I spoke with the seller today. He said the valve covers are leaking a little oil. The paint on the exterior needs to be buffed out. Front left wheel drivers side has a small bend on the lip but still holds air. He said there is no rust & the body is very straight. The inside, door panels, door jams, engine bay, etc is all painted the same lime green color. Will need new tires soon too. He said he wants at least $5500. What's a fair price to offer him cash when I go look at it in person??? That's if I like it.

Prices are only retarded when people quit paying them These cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay. For every guy who thinks that something is too high there are 10 behind them saying what a good deal it is.

I personally think that green truck is a fair price at $6k, not a steal but definitely fair. Ad some side molding and it would tone the color down quite a bit. But what do I know....

Just take 5K in cash with you, point out all the flaws and then tell him what you will offer. worse case scenario, he says no, but many people have problems saying no to cash.

I'll offer $4500 & maybe settle at 5K at the most if everything is as good as he says.
