I generally don't have issues with profiling. I was profiled as a youth because I was young. I was profiled later based on what uniform I was wearing and actions I took. Profiling is part of human evolution. If I encounter a dog, snake, insect, or person, I first assess them visually to aid my decision to treat them as a danger or not. I dislike the blanket that racism has become because it is no longer used to simply describe someone who dislikes any person of a certain race. Now it seems to be applied to anyone who expresses a distaste in anything cultural.
Very intelligent, but people will chastise you because you did not give that poor ol' scorpion you found in your toolbox a chance to ~not~ sting you.

It is deeper then that it goes as far as implied racisism. I hate mondays. I really do. Depending on who reads that I could be racist because they feel I'm referring to blacks even though I don't o just hate the day that follows Sunday.
Evidence Mistakenly Released In Trayvon Martin Case
The State Attorney’s Office prosecuting the case against George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, mistakenly released a trove of evidence on Thursday that included a grainy photo of Martin’s body and Zimmerman’s college transcript.
Not long after Special Prosecutor Angela Corey's office sent an email to media outlets with the evidence attached, the office issued a statement asking reporters to "please disregard and do not use the information contained in the initial e-mail. It was inadvertently attached."
The Huffington Post will not be publishing the evidence that was released in full. It did not reveal any bombshells in the case, which has been closely watched for months as the State Attorney's office has incrementally released information.
But among the more superficially interesting details gleaned from the leaked evidence came from Zimmerman’s academic record. While Zimmerman, by his own account, longed to have a career in law enforcement, and to follow in his former magistrate father's footsteps, he earned a D in "Intro To Criminal Justice" and a C in "Evil Minds – Violent Predators" during his time at Seminole State college in Central Florida.
He also failed algebra twice, according to the documents.
Zimmerman was a student at the college on Feb. 26, 2012, when he shot and killed Martin, but he was expelled shortly thereafter due to safety concerns and the high profile nature of his case.
Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty, and is currently free on $1 million bond.

Here they go trying to sue folks for money, when it's still undetermined officially if the shooting was legal or not.
A series of recent developments in the Trayvon Martin case reveal that the parents of the slain teen are not sitting idly while their son’s killer, George Zimmerman, awaits his fate.
Sybrina Fulton filed paperwork last week to jumpstart a lawsuit against the insurance company for the Retreat at Twin Lakes homeowners association, seeking monetary damages in the death of her 17-year-old son within the gates of the townhome community.
In the documents, Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America is seeking clarification of its responsibilities in Trayvon’s and requested the judge to strike down any chance of the company having liability in the case.

Rule 1 in ghetto families. Anytime something bad happens to a family member, you exploit it for money.

Yeah, I'm trying to check on this every so often. I'm disappointed to see that it's a cluster on the lawsuit side and then the family turns out to be as expected in this situation.
If it were a small bet, I'd bet the prosecution is so desperate to have him found guilty - who knows what they'll do.

Zimmerman lived in the gated community. I am not surprised you don't know this.

I believe the story is he lived elsewhere and cut through the neighborhood as a shortcut. When I'm referring to a ghetto family, where they live is irrelevant. I know plenty of ghetto families that live in 200k+ homes.
I'm calling the Martin family ghetto because of their actions. Making wild accusations without any facts, hiring an attorney as a PR agent to perpetuate this incorrect information, attempting to license Trayvon's name and story to for t-shirt/merchandise rights, shopping book rights to publishers/producers, suing the neighborhood for money, etc. Granted, my son didn't get killed - but I personally feel like they are trying to exploit the tragedy for monetary gains.
