At what point do you decide that assaulting someone is the best choice of action? Considering that Martin's clothing was clean, his face was completely unblemished and he was standing over Zimmerman when he was shot... Martin was the assailant. I don't care if you're 17 or 37: a 6' tall 180lb athletic individual is more than capable of beating someone to death. I don't play the "what-if" game, especially when talking about this situation... but there are a LOT of documented cases of skulls meeting concrete and resulting in permanent brain injury or death. Distance is your friend. It is ABSOLUTELY STUPID to be afraid of someone, and then close the distance on them. There is only ONE reason to close distance on someone, and that is to put them within striking range.

it will all come out, there were enough eye witnesses on this there isn't even a lot of questions left in my mind. Zimmermans story is solid, it was defense.

I don't see any judge allowing this case to go to court, but we all know there isn't a judge in the nation with the balls to make that decision. Whichever judge gets this case is going to let it go to trial so they don't have to make that decision.
