Haven't these people ever heard of deferred adjudiication or defensive driving for dismissal of minor traffic violations?

That would mean not getting anymore tickets for a solid 90 days though! No one wants to make a promise like that!

Actually you can, provided your other ticket(s) received during the "probationary period" for deferred adjudication are in separate jurisdictions. Ask me, unfortunately for my wallet, how I learned this following traffic stops by Fort Worth's and Arlington's finest. Of course I was innocent though......
