Yep, 210hp and 300ft/lb torque. It's a stout 5.7L engine that well maintained will last you quite a bit longer than the 260k miles it already has on it.

Can anyone tell me what years shared the same interior? I want to call ahead to some places before I go junkyard to junkyard to see what years they have. If anyone happens to know of a good pick & pull where I can pull my own stuff that might have one of these years?

Pretty sure 95-98 are the same. Pre 98 had the rectangular dash/door stuff, 95-98 had more curves.

I firmly believe those trucks to be the best ever made. I ran across a '98 the other day with 28k miles on it, and nearly died. He wanted $11k! Love those trucks.

I'm rolling around in a 91 Dodge 250 diesel with nearly 500,000 miles on it, while my SVTF is in the shop and the Durango is a lawn ornament until fuel eases off. 3 out of 4 speakers work, a/c is out, it leaks, shudders, won't set any speed records, headliner is falling, paint falls off while driving, odometer quit working, fuel guage hops around like Michael J. Fox, seats are worn out and the brake booster needs to be replaced but it gets mid 20's on the highway!

Sounds like a good buy to me, even though it is a Chevy.

I would just turn around and sell it if I didn't need it. Sounds like a good buy.

Those model interiors are everywhere. I got a complete 60/40 bench for my 64 out of an early 90s chevy for 50 bucks. Its damn near mint. They are all over craigslist

95-98 Pickup trucks (Chevrolet,GMC), and 96-late 99 Tahoe's,Yukons,Blazers,Suburbans and maybe Escalades are mostly the same other than some of the work trucks not having a passenger side airbag (a cutout in the dash with 2 cupholders where the airbag is on the nicer models), and there were various different door trim options. Matching the color of the handle shouldn't be that difficult as there were a LOT of them made. As I stated earlier....I would look for the SUV rear drivers side interior door handle..better chances of finding one intact as MOST of the pickups I've seen have been pretty much picked clean to the bones.
