    Need a good back doctor

    Hi fellas,

    I kinda hurt my back a few months ago. I thought it was just a sprain but it is taking too long to heal. Do any of you have suggestions for a good back doctor in the North DFW area. Preferably around Denton?

                    UT Southwestern Spine center. I moved over there a couple years ago and prefer them highly over my old doc in Ft. Worth. They have everything on their campus, my old doc had to send me somewhere else for x-rays, MRI, therapy, etc.) Luckily, I have not had to go under the knife for mine (knock on wood)

                        This is where my dad goes. his other doc was ready to cut into his 78 year old back because he has a blood vessel that's grown around his spine. UTS doc told him he would probably not walk again with the surgery, and to hold off on his surgery unless he was in unbearable pain. He has been going back every 6 months with no problems yet.

                          He is great, doesn't pressure you and doesn't give you the "you need to come in twice a week for 2 months" stuff.
                          Always fits me in even if I call on that day.
                          Has a message therapist on staff.
                          Can do x-rays, spinal decompression, etc.
                          Highly recommended.
