Why not? You like burning gas and paying sales tax? Only to drive to a store to find out they don't have what you want? Ordering online FTW. This is exactly why Best Buy is going down. People go there to shop and play with different gadgets, then order online for cheaper.

What really pisses me off is fucken mp3s, and their idea that no one wants cd's anymore... so they turn 1/6th of the store with all their selections into like 2 short racks of cd's, which are all mainly new shit from the last week to come out.

Does anyone know of a good fucken cd shop left? There's one in Carrollton off Trinity Mills and Midway, but Id not consider it really great... that place still only had half of what I was looking for.
Yeah that shit pisses me off too about the CD's. I don't have an iPod or any of that MP3 crap, I want to buy a CD, go out to my car in the parking lot, unwrap it, and pop it into the cd player while I read the case!

I don't know what business model these companies are using but "balance" does not seem to be a word that most know. The big corporations just want to keep expanding and expanding instead of maintaining the business that they already have. I used to love best buy, now I'm afraid of buying things from there because I might have to deal with their customer service department.

The primary function of their job is to ask if you need help. If it bothers you that much, shop online. Take a xanax and shut the fuck up.

Both of these statements say it well, one a little nicer than the other. the employees in these stores are only doing a job, one they may not even like. They are trained to ask everyone they see, or risk losing their job. I simply say no thank you or just looking. I like the customer service when I'm looking for somthing I know little about, and actually need the help. It's hit or miss as to whether or not I get a knowledgeable one or not, but at least its SOME help.

I use to work at conn's lol, they have a 7 step strategie to complete a sale. Step 1 is to greet the customer, steps 2-7 is to bug the shit out of them.

just because something worked back in the 70's OR 80's when he/she was working at a store, don't mean it's going to work in todays marke!

paid $9.99 for the last USB cable I bought at best buy TWO years ago. You must have no idea what the difference between a USB cable and HDMI cable is.

Do they seriously think that having a gigantic store every 7 miles in every direction is a sustainable business model? If you drive from Lewisville to Mckinney, you will pass 5 Best Buy stores including the one on 75 just south of 121. Seems a little ridiculous to me.

Look at it this way: At least they aren't Fry's. I've never seen a bigger collection of the barely employable in my life. At least Best Buy makes them bathe.
