I understand what you're saying, but addressing the theories of loons is not proper detective work. You shouldn't find those things in an official investigation. You analyze the data, and you come to the factually based most likely conclusion, not some jackass who things people fired from manhole covers, etc. The truth is what 50 years of science and investigation have uncovered is that the Warren Commission is accurate. I agree. When I said sloppy, I meant that the way it was explained, the details they missed etc. Had they explained it properly the general public would have been able to better understand what happened. But as you stated, so many people were making emotional conclusions it was easier to believe a greater evil was at play than dealing in reason and logic.

I still enjoy reading the conspiracy stuff, so much so that I became obsessed reading mafia/mob stuff and how all of that intertwined.

I kind of can see the manhole theory being true. There are eye witnesses of someone exiting the sewer and the angle does seem to line up better with the exit wounds to JFK's head. I dunno, i haven't looked into this stuff in a while, so my opinion probably holds no merit.

That would NOT line up. Besides, how in the hell would someone be able to hold a rifle aiming a long weapon through a circle, holding a manhole steel plate hitting a moving target while standing on a ladder? lol.

To fully understand the absurdity of the claims you have to understand the legitimate conclusions the facts show. If you listen to the conspiracy theories you'll think bullets were bouncing around like magic. That's entirely conceived by amateurs, who don't understand ballistics in the slightest. One of the best unbiased documentaries I've ever seen was a discovery channel special called "Unsolved History: JFK Behind the Magic Bullet" where they most importantly try to recreate not only the conspiracy theories using factual evidence, but they try to recreate the accepted facts. They are able to prove just about all of the Warren Commission correct.

They even recreate the "magic bullet" almost perfectly. The real truth about the JFK assassination is people don't want to know the real truth. It's a sad and dismal tale. People would rather cling to the sensational.

The theory I am referring to doesn't actually involve a manhole. The idea is a shooter entered the sewer system and was shooting out of a sewer/storm drain, not a manhole. If you look at the street, there is a storm drain directly in front of where his car approached with a good angle. Not saying i agree or anything, just stating the theory.

The problem with the sewer shot is that it would have been from front to back and right to left shot. The head wound clearly wasn't such a shot and the other wound was his neck/throat directly from front to back.

Many conspiracy theories say Oswald couldn't have been the shooter cause he couldn't walk from the Book Depository to the neighborhood where he shot office Tibbits and then into the Texas Theater. They proved it possible with time to spare on all counts - using Oswald s time card, eye-witnesses that saw him in the building (including police officers) and all recorded sightings of him. Most people don't know 90% of the evidence the US Gov had on Oswald, there was so much it was ridiculous. He fired a rifle at a US General in a failed assassination attempt just months previous!

They actually did a re-enactment from the actual window using the same type of rifle with different levels of skilled shooters and were able to reproduce the shots once they had the real data of speed of the car, occupant seating and trajectory. It was a pretty straight forward answer after that.

Yup. They even used an actor to walk all the possible routes in Oakcliff to see if it were possible for him to make it in time and not only did he have time, but he had time to spare even with the shooting of Officer Tibbits.

Oliver Stone nonsense. No shots came from the front. People claimed to hear shots from the knoll and/or the tunnels at the bottom of the street. It was nothing more than the acoustics from the tunnels echoing the shots.
