Morale takes a hit when you have a freakin' loafer. It's also contagious as fuck. People start getting the, 'If Susan leaves at 4:45, I'm gonna start leaving a 4:45,' mentality, and the next thing you know, it's no longer the laid back honor system that you know and love.

She's in her first 90 days. She should be busting her ass to make the best impression possible. If she's actin like this her first few weeks in, it's going to get ridiculous when she's more comfortable in her job.

I probably should have posted this thread before shooting an e-mail off to my boss, but it wasn't a complete rat. Mainly just kind of a heads up for him to pay attention when he gets back in town.

This. I would call your supervisor and just say something along the lines of you were trying to find her for some (made up, but totally plausible) reason and ask if he had heard from her. That'll start the ball rolling and he/she will begin looking for her, to no avail (obviously). Then she'll be in a world of shit.

Had to when I worked for UPS. Stupid Mother Fucker kept walking in with shitty shoes on and knew what boxes had Nikes in them, and would swap them out. Problem was he kept telling me, and we were on the same load. I told him MULTIPLE times I did not give a shit, and did not want to know about it. Finally I knew he would get caught, no way they would believe me if I said I knew nothing about it, so I had to tell it. They told me the next day they would walk by, and when I saw them to get out of the truck. They sent down a box with jewlery hanging out of it, and sure enough the SMF took the bait. You just see him literally FLY out of the truck and run to the bathroom.
On the upside I got a $500 reward!!!
