Joplin - we went through there about 2 weeks afterward, it was the worst thing I've ever seen. Really overwhelming honestly....people would spray-paint and/or have signs on the front of their homes (or lot where the home used to be)...."all accounted for", or "missing elderly man/woman", "missing cat, dog", etc, etc. It was crazy b/c we saw areas where every house on a street would be completely gone, but one randomly left almost totally in tact. We also saw this one property that looked as though it had been meticulously cleaned, raked, etc...not a piece of debris, garbage, nothing....all that was left was the concrete foundation, yet it still had the carpet on it.

Same on the west side, (114/NW Hwy). Lots of folks coming in with hail damage though. We sold out of tarps and car covers in about 30 minutes.

I was thinkingthe same thing. It could depend on which way ur home is facing to how much damage u get.

If the tornado in S. Arlington would have been about 500ft to the east, I would be homeless. The street one block away is demolished, some lost everything.
