So I decided to mosey on over there today for the first time....and last time. That website makes me angry as FUCK. My OCD was sending me into conniptions in the first 45 seconds. How the fuck can anyone get anything with any semblance of order from that website? Is it different if you have an account and log in? Holy fuck....

You can select whatever categry you want where it says "everything" on top. If you dont have an account, you can clik on the picture and it will take you directly to the website.

you install the browser add on to "pin" things to your pinterest boards. You can create different boards for different things.

Yeah the actual page of everyone else's shit is worthless pretty much.

Like I said, the idea was awesome, but it's current usage is terrible.

So the only REAL benefit, in its current form, is that you can pin stuff you want to go back and look at later... a function that (in some form or another) has existed for at least 15 years? Seems legit.

No the new side is that it saves links by associating a picture to it, for future reference, and saves it online.

Again, when I first heard about the idea and thought that might be pretty cool, when you are surfing the internet and see things you want to buy, or look at later, rather than having 500billion bookmarks unorganized on one PC, this would allow you to take your links with you, etc.

What it's being used for is far from that, and it's a very annoying site to navigate, etc. But also like I said if you have a significant other that is using it and aren't following them on pinterest, you are a fool.

It also gives you ideas that you may never think to search for on your own by looking at other peoples pins.
