The 928 was hot shit back in like...1983. You can find them on Craigslist all day long for 10 grand or less....but they are maintenance whores and EVERYTHING on them is expensive (service, parts, etc). I almost bought an 87 928 when I lived in Austin for 7 grand but after speaking to a Porsche mechanic I quickly changed my mind.

They say bad things come in three's. So do 928 Porsche's everytime they come in the dealership for service they seem to come in three's and the techs run in the opposite direction.
