i came across a tax lien that is on my credit from 2004 and when I called the comptroller today they said it was put on in error and I need to go down to local office and pay $22 filing fee to have it removed. So of course, Im going down tomorrow to do this.
However, it got me looking into my credit a little further and there is another old chargeoff on my credit what was supposed to be removed from a settlement and Im curious what the best way is to dispute it, etc.
Does anyone know of a good forum out to with credit discussions?
